$STPT to $AWE Token Migration Guide

This is the official guide to swap your $STPT (on Ethereum) for $AWE (on Base) as part of the AWE Network rebrand. You have the option to either use centralized exchanges for an automatic conversion or an official onchain swap portal.

You can either: 

1. Deposit $STPT into one of the exchanges (Binance, Upbit, Bitget, Gate.io, HTX, MEXC, Bithumb) supporting the token migration per their specified date and have it automatically converted into $AWE.

2. Deposit $STPT into the Official Swap Portal, wait for confirmation, and claim $AWE on Base via the same portal.

Key Dates

• May 19, 2025 03:00 (UTC):
  
  • Official Swap Portal opens
  • Exchange deposits for STPT closes
  • CEX trading and withdrawals for STPT are disabled
    
    
• May 21, 2025 03:00 (UTC):
  
  • Exchanges
    
    • Trading opens for AWE
    • Deposits for AWE enabled
    • Withdrawals for AWE will open shortly after
  • DEX
    
    • AWE LP goes live on Base
  • AWE claims go live for Swap Portal Users

CEX Participants

If you hold or deposit $STPT on a participating centralized exchange, no action is required. Your $STPT will be automatically converted to $AWE by the exchange.

How the Official Swap Works

The swap is conducted via the Official Swap Portal → https://upgrade.stp.network

There is no separate contract address to manually send tokens to. Only interact with the Official Swap Portal.

Token Swap Flow (Ethereum → Base)

1. Deposit $STPT through the Official Swap Portal on Ethereum
2. Wait approximately 3 minutes for automatic verification
3. Claim $AWE on Base via the same portal

Once claimed, your AWE tokens will arrive directly on Base.

DEX Participants

If you are providing liquidity for $STPT on decentralized exchanges:

• Remove your liquidity positions if applicable
• Then either:
  
  • Deposit your $STPT into a supported centralized exchange for automatic conversion, or
  • Use the Official Swap Portal to manually convert your $STPT to $AWE

Onchain Holders

If you are holding $STPT in an onchain wallet on Ethereum:

• You can deposit your STPT into a supported CEX before May 19 for automatic conversion, or
• Use the Official Swap Portal starting May 19 to swap manually

$STPT Holders on Base Network

If you currently hold $STPT directly on Base:

• You must bridge your STPT from Base back to Ethereum
• After bridging:
  
  • Deposit STPT into the Official Swap Portal
  • Wait for verification
  • Claim your AWE on Base using the same portal

There is no direct Base-to-Base swap. Be mindful of the 7-day bridging period when planning your swap.

Important Notes

• Swap Ratio: 1 STPT (Ethereum) = 1 AWE (Base)
• The swap for onchain holders is conducted exclusively via the Official Swap Portal
• Do not use third-party bridges or send tokens directly to any contract
• Always confirm you're using https://upgrade.stp.network
